Highland Road, between Port Washington Road and Lake Shore Drive, is scheduled to close to traffic for approximately five days while crews work to place the final asphalt layer of pavement, permanent pavement marking, and permanent signing.

The I-43 northbound and southbound ramps at Highland Road are scheduled to close to traffic for approximately five days.

Local Alternate Route:
Motorists are encouraged to use Port Washington Road (County W), Pioneer Road (County C), and Lakeshore Drive to get around this closure.
I-43 Northbound Alternate Route:
Motorists are encouraged to use the 1-43 northbound exit ramp at Port Washington Road and the I-43 northbound entrance ramp at Pioneer Road (County C) to get around this closure.
I-43 Southbound Alternate Route:
Motorists are encouraged to use the 1-43 southbound exit and entrance ramps at Pioneer Rd (County C) to get around this closure.
Access to businesses and residences will be maintained.
